OSIICA ( Organization for Sustainable Integration of Immigrants in Canada) is a Canadian Non-for-profit Organization based in Kitchener, Ontario. At OSIICA, our mission is to empower immigrants by providing comprehensive support and integration services within Canadian communities. We strive to foster an inclusive society where diversity is celebrated, and every individual can thrive. By mobilizing resources and cultivating cultural understanding, we aim to build strong, sustainable communities that benefit all members of Canadian society
Founded by volunteers who are themselves immigrants and active members of Canadian society, OSIICA understands firsthand the challenges faced by immigrants. Our founders have navigated their own paths of integration, built their families, and made meaningful contributions to their communities. Motivated by a deep appreciation for Canada—its welcoming spirit, rich culture, and diverse people—they envisioned an organization dedicated to assisting immigrants to integrate seamlessly and strengthen Canadian society.
Canada is recognized globally for its open arms to immigrants, with significant numbers choosing to make it their home over the past several years. This trend is expected to continue, reflecting Canada’s enduring appeal as a destination for newcomers. However, immigrants encounter distinct challenges, from lacking crucial information before arrival to facing obstacles in starting their new lives and integrating into society.

Our leadership team brings a wealth of experience, boasting a combined 40 years of expertise in community organization and working with families and communities from low socioeconomic backgrounds. Above all, we leverage the knowledge, expertise, and resources of our supporters and our community. This collaborative approach amplifies our impact, enabling us to enact meaningful change and support immigrants more effectively. Our leaders’ deep understanding and hands-on experience ensure that we are equipped to address the challenges and opportunities that arise in our work.
